The Pavement Tiles Cry Under My Ignored Footsteps

Drowning trust, dyslexic tonight.
So malfunctioning within, yet forgetful.
Me and her, in my crypt forever -
Lost, hated and hoping to cry

For her kisses, I would hope for her to fly.
Her young king, so screaming
Would I pray, life would love
In hate, I hate.

If I bleed, then time would cry
Would I hope? God would love me.
Loving and fragile, but unseen like lust
When God is crying for me.

Drowning, hoping and praying to bleed,
Death and God are destined to cry.
In my grave, feeling forever,
Forever I will walk alone.

This is probably the deepest song that we have ever written. It took over four months to write just the lyrics themselves, and another month to compose the drone behind it. One of most upbeat numbers, this is a fantastic example of how to make a crowd dance but think at the same time. Ideally suited for walking in town and staring at the passers-by with the contempt they deserve, this song is destined to be the theme of a generation. It is becoming increasingly common to look down at the pavement when you are walking, staring at the grey tiles and we have made sure to reflect that in our masterpiece above. This song is a direct homage to the late, great glam-rock god Andy Peters, who coined such hits as ‘11111111’ and ‘Microwaves’, which really spoke to us when we were growing up. Unfortunately, we have never played this live for fear of the effect of unleashing something too awesome upon an unsuspecting public and what chaos could ensue. It will be posted online at some point and we are expecting a few remixes from DJ MiltonBS, but for now you will have to imagine how amazing the song sounds in your head.
